CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — JULY 28, 2021 — Fermata Energy announced today that Marty Weiner, a founding architect, and engineer of Pinterest and first Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Reddit, has joined the Advisory Board of Fermata Energy. Weiner brings with him extensive leadership experience in scaling companies in emerging technologies and new industries.

At Pinterest, Weiner was a founding engineer responsible for scaling the site from hundreds of users to 10s of millions and beyond. He then joined Reddit as its first CTO tasked with building a world-class engineering team and ensuring the site could handle 500+ million people visiting every month.
