Jack Pfeiffer is a clean energy tech leader focused on building reliable and scalable systems that optimize the economics of the real time operations of distributed energy resources. Jack led the algorithm development at Geli (acquired by Hanwha in 2020), where he and his team developed algorithms to support various objectives including Demand Charge Management, Energy Arbitrage, Demand Response and Frequency Regulation. 

The primary barrier to realizing savings from energy storage is uncertainty in electricity consumption, generation and prices. Jack has focused on developing software that accounts for and hedges against these various uncertainties. Prior to working in climate tech, Jack worked in development economics managing randomized control trials to study the impacts of policy interventions.

An expert in electric vehicle technology and clean energy markets and policy, Dr. Claire Weiller serves as the Director of European Strategic Partnerships at Fermata Energy, the leader in Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) bidirectional charging technology.  With more than 10 years' experience in the electric EV and renewable energy research and investment, Claire also serves as an expert evaluator for European research and development funding programs.  Her work has been instrumental in closing more than 100M€ in debt financing for wind and energy efficiency projects.

A frequent speaker on energy flexibility and the role of EVs, Claire holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Management and M.Phil. in Technology Policy from the University of Cambridge, a M.Sc. in Energy Science and Technology from ETH Zurich and a B.Sc. in Environment from McGill University.
